Common questions
How is this different from Yuki, Snelstart, or Twinfield?
Those are full accounting platforms — they expect you to be doing accounting. Invoice Pilot is one job done well: capture every supplier invoice, file it, remind you before it's due, and hand a clean export to your accountant. It plugs into the platform you already use; it doesn't replace it.
Where does my data live?
On your own WordPress site. Two custom database tables in your existing WordPress database. Attachments live in your standard Media Library. We never see your invoices unless you specifically ask us to.
How accurate is the AI extraction?
Claude reads invoices roughly as well as a human assistant — it gets the supplier, totals, dates and IBAN right almost every time on cleanly-scanned PDFs. We always leave fields you've edited untouched, and every invoice lands in a 'needs review' state so you spot anything off in 5 seconds.
What does the Anthropic API actually cost me?
On the default Claude Haiku 4.5 model, well under one cent per invoice. A business doing 100 supplier invoices per month spends roughly €0.50 in API costs. The Managed plan includes this; on Self-hosted you pay Anthropic directly.
Can I give my accountant access?
Yes. There is a built-in Accountant role that can view invoices, download attachments and run CSV exports — but cannot change settings or delete records.
What if I want to cancel?
Self-hosted: just stop paying — the plugin keeps running on your server until you uninstall it. Managed: 30 days notice, we hand you the database export and the plugin so you can self-host. Your data is yours.
